Who says all vacations have to be luxurious? As schools across the U.S. prepare to let their students out on Spring Break, I’m thinking back to one of my favorite spring break experiences: Outward Bound.

I hate to admit it, but summer 2009 is officially over. Even though Labor Day has passed and you technically shouldn’t wear those white hot pants any more, the end of the season doesn’t have to be the end to your trips. While the air might be getting crisp here in the Northeast, it’s still warm and sunny at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

Today’s Mental Vacation
Woke up for an early run this morning and witnessed a pretty Manhattan sunrise over midtown. Definately did not compare to the one a few years back I snapped from the Intercoastal Waterway. The pelican seemed to enjoy the view as well, perched on marker 27, near Stuart, Florida.
